Detective David Sykes from Cyber Crime Division of Alamance County Sheriff's Department talked to AO 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders about the importance of internet safety!
District Science Fair Winners!
Congratulations to our AO District Science Fair Winners!  Way to go Davis, Bradyn, and Nate!
Bluebird Project Begins!
AO students became partners with the Landbird Legacy Program.  We are 1 of only 8 schools in the state with a webcam bluebird nesting box!  Hopefully our little friends will choose our nesting box soon!  
D.A.R.E Graduation
 
AO Girls Running Club
AO Girls Running Club participated in the 4th Annual Eve Carson Memorial Scholarship 5K Race in Chapel Hill on November 19th.  The girls sponsored "Books for Bedtime" to raise books to take with them.  AO students donated 974 books to the Eve Carson book Drive!

Friday is the final turn in for the box tops contest.

The PTA is taking orders for Wheels n Bumpers car washes. These make great Christmas presents! If you have lost your order form, there is one on-line that you may use.
AO Students Honor Heroes!
